Hi and thanks for stopping by my page ~ ~ ~ I'm a self-taught artist from childhood on, primarily drawing/illustration, but am beginning to experiment with painting. You may have seen me at Art On The Lawn last year offering on-the-spot sketches which include a psychic "reading". I call that process Spirit Drawings. This incorporates my training as a Reiki healing practitioner (at times) as well as the various teachings I've apprenticed with native peoples pathways---primarily Ojibwa and the Peruvian Mesa.
I am putting it out to the Universe (and the Miami Valley region) that I'd like to start a monthly spiritual teaching circle in order to build earth-honoring community and share what I've been honored with by my Teachers. The name of this group will be The Grove, indicating a kinship with the energies of the trees, but also in particular meaning The Tree Of Life. The Tree of Life is actually a "code" for the work that includes a complete "Re-membering" of one's self and one's Purpose.
My backround includes extensive training in professional theatre. I've been a professional actress since I was a teenager, as well as a director of many local theatre productions since the mid-90s. Occassionally I get to write the theatre re-views for the YS News---which is always fun! The last production I directed was the Yellow Springs high school musical "Once Upon A Mattress" in 2006. It's really my sons Charlie, Toby, and Elliot Cromer who are the 'famous' ones here in town for all their wonderful contributions to the local kids theatre scene.
So, as you can see----I'm a bit of all over the place with my ART, and if any of what you've read "speaks" to you, please feel free to email me or give me a ring, and let's talk! I offer the Spirit Drawings and Reiki healing in my home, by appointment.

Thoughts about YSKP's newly opened production: FRANKENSTEIN
I attended last night's official (and delayed) opening of the Yellow Springs Kids Playhouse production of their original musical "Frankenstein". While the style of last year's offering of "Sense & Sensibility" exhibited a noticible departure from former years, this show is really crossing over into new territory.

- Ah CELTIC NEW YEAR - perhaps that's why my heart suddenly exploded with joy as I was leaving work yesterday evening.
November 10 - sounds good to me. I'm sure the others are interested. I usually work Monday nights but will work it out.
A LOT of matriarchy-patriarchy stuff going on in the just-finished Mercury retrograde and following several days.
Some productive beehive-mind shifts for me. Self-esteem as Matriarchy Sister now increasing. Yeeha!

- Thanks for the note on the folkschool, Carol - I was so busy I didn't see it until now. Whew. We did well, and word's getting around - it will be fun to plan the next one. I heard from my daughter Corrie in Kansas City that she heard from her dad that he heard it was really good. Yeah!

- I went to Chillicothe Mounds today with Jan T. with Pipes...my prayers included Truths emerging in a gentle but unmistakable Way in regards to pentagonal things...among several other prayers.
Very tired tonight from the sun and fun of there and back again.
