New totem poles, eh?
Though, if not tended, may produce a corset-y effect.
Perhaps that might be one of the hallmarks of a new culture: the corseted trees...Smiling here, because that leads to all sorts of sculptural bits that could develop into forests of nudes and various modes of dress and undress among the trees.
And then where would we be as a society? Perhaps not quite so puritan as before...
